In collaboration of BRAC and Institute for Informatics and Development (IID), a National Consultation Seminar titled “ Quality Education for Next Generation”, is going to be held on Thursday 18th of June, 2015 (by invitation only).
The seminar is a part of BRAC-IID joint advocacy campaign on education that focuses on critical issues of the education sector. Particularly, while the post-MDG development agenda are on the center stage, the seminar aims to initiate a process of aligning the education sector towards addressing the challenges in achieving Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) targets by 2030.
The seminar is framed around a presentation on the findings of the campaign underpinned by a series of research, grassroots consultations and workshops. Setting a strategic direction for Bangladesh’s education sector in the post-2015 being the agenda on the table, discussion is expected to surround three critical areas of education – equity, access and quality for lifelong learning.
Hosting top level policymakers, ministers, education activists and development partners, the seminar is expected to create a platform for lively discussion to put forward a roadmap for the development of our education sector towards SDG2030.
