People around the Country Gives Input in Education Position Paper for National Level Policy Advocacy
Participatory policy discourse has been ensured while the Education Position Paper has been prepared as part of BRAC-CAMPE-IID education advocacy campaign. Parents, teachers and education workers gave suggestions on access, equity and quality improvement in primary education, secondary education sector development and education financing.
IID has conducted 5 e-FGDs with BRAC Education activists, parents, teachers and other stakeholders in Sylhet, Bogra, Dinajpur, Mymensingh and Kushtia. These e-FGDs took place on 20th, 21st, 22nd, 24th July & 11th August 2014 respectively through video conference interface of Skype.
The problem areas, issues and recommendations gathered through these e-FGDs were compiled and incorporated in the draft position paper for promoting these issues for national level policy advocacy.
